Ta Prohm is the reason I am in Cambodia, even why I’ve come to southeast Asia. Jungle and stone merge together to create something almost mythical in appearance. I walk through the temple in awe and silence as it is early morning. Only the sounds of the forest are heard. I stand in reverence to these mighty beings that weave their way through time, creating the very air we breath. I have to wonder if there will be a day when they will rule again, covering our ruined cities with their bodies.
