One lazy Sunday I decided to drive down to one of my favorite places in the city, the Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory on Belle Isle, in order to create this review on my new camera bag and travel pants. I had searched high and low to find this combo and am so happy with them. There are no shortage of camera backpacks on the market as well as hiking pants, yet I had a hard time finding some with style. I would find camera bags that were functional  but that screamed, “I have lots of camera gear in here!” I have pants for travel and hiking, yet they have zippers and pockets galore that while great on a trail, would not be welcome in a French cafe. Both of these products have multiple ways to wear them, are comfortable and stylish.

The Kelly Moore Chapel Backpack paired with the Anatomie Skyler Skinny Pant.

The Kelly Moore Chapel Convertible Camera Backpack has pretty close to all I would want in a camera bag. I love that I can wear it as a backpack on a hike to ease the weight on my shoulders, yet I can also wear it as a shoulder bag as well. This comes in handy at the airport when I already will be carrying a backpack for my clothes. I love the color scheme, the midnight blue and chocolate brown will match all of what I am bringing on my trip. I found I could fit my camera with lens attached, an extra lens and even my small Mefoto DayTrip Tripod in the bag comfortably. Plus I could also carry my cellphone, a remote control  system, keys, memory cards and a few more smaller items. Under the main flap, the inner pocket zips protecting my gear even further. I also take advantage of an outside pocket that is up against your back when worn, which holds money and credit cards.  I have to be conscious of pick pockets in some cities abroad, so these features are important to me. This is the second Kelly Moore bag I’ve owned and am excited to see how this one measures up on my travels.

One of the many items that my Chapel bag goes well with are my  Skyler Skinny Travel Pants by Anatomie. This brand really excels in making quality travel clothing for women. I can wear these pants to work, dinner, or on a hike in the woods. They are stretchy, comfortable, form flattering, and quick drying. I hand washed mine and they were dry in about 6 hours. They also are less likely to wrinkle and still look great after a trip in my backpack. They are giving enough for hiking up hills and comfortable enough to lounge in on a long flight. I can even roll them a few times and wear them as capris. I know they will be my go to pants on my trip. The customer service is very helpful and prompt from Anatomie. If you haven’t checked out their line of travel clothing, it’s worth seeing here.

If you’d like to know more about Belle Isle and the Anna Scripps Conservatory visit this link. It’s a beautiful place and the whole island is the gem of the city. There is also a very charming aquarium next door designed by Albert Kahn that is worth visiting as well. Both have free admission and parking.

I was not paid to write this review, I purchased both of these items on my own and created this review because I really love them. You can purchase either through these links below. If you are in the market to buy any of these items, clicking through from this page gives me a small commission and will help fund this site and my journey. Thanks!
