From Wanderlust to Planting Roots

This blog follows my journey from a corporate career in television to selling my house and embarking on a solo trip around the world for a year. Upon returning home, my story has been a series of ups and downs as I made my way forward and eventually north to the top of Michigan and the small, picturesque town of Harbor Springs. From my charming a-frame in the forest, I bring new stories and adventures closer to home.

Where I Call Home

Far up the freshwater coast, about four hours north of Detroit, straight highways start to grow graceful and curve into country roads. Past gentle slopes with horses grazing and pristine forests that stretch on for days, you’ll find the sleepy town of Harbor Springs.
